In this article, we are going to show you some less known sites in the United States.

Ausable Chasm, Nueva York

Ausable Chasm es una ubicación oculta en el oeste de New York. Se encuentra a unas cinco horas de la ciudad de Nueva York y consiste en una mini catarata y un bosque que la rodea.

There are three main trails where you can play sports such as climbing, rappelling, and trekking. Additionally, around the place there are cabins where you can spend the night surrounded by nature and peace.

Willamette National Forest, Oregon

Oregon is the perfect state for those who want to know and go deep into nature in the United States. It has a high number of national parks.

The Willamette National Forest is over 125 miles long. It has trails for hiking and one of the biggest waterfalls in the state.

You can camp here since it has about 50 sites dedicated to this activity.

Devil’s Tower, Wyoming

Devil’s Tower is located in Wyoming. This huge rock is 1640 miles high and it expands along the coastline of the Belle Fourche lake.

This hidden site can be visited throughout the whole year. There are trails available for hiking and climbing around the place, apart from its classic campsites where you can enjoy nature directly.

It is an excellent place to visit in one day, so if you travel to this region, you must include it in your itinerary.

Dunes, Colorado

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Colorado offers a variety of landscapes that include sand dunes, forests, mountains, and streams. It feels like being on another planet. The dunes are so huge and beautiful that they seem to be a mirage.

Adventure lovers will be able to do activities such as sandboarding, swimming, journeys on 4x4, and more. In the surrounding area of the park, there is lots of accommodation to stay and spend the night in this gem of the country.

Dewey, Delaware

Dewey is one of the most beautiful and unknown coastal cities in the United States. Basically, it is a small 1-mile-long-and-wide peninsula. On one side, there is the Atlantic ocean and on the other, there is Assawoman Bay.

Due to its reduced size, Dewey has activities of all kinds. The city has restaurants, concert halls, and unique beaches.

Additionally, there are no taxes in Delaware, so most things cost less than in other states of the country.
